Discreetly perched on the outskirts of Leeds, you can find a distinguished, country escape in the form of Oulton Hall.

Having hosted the likes of the Royal family and the Beckhams (…the other Royal family), Oulton Hall really has a lot to offer. From a 27-hole golf course to the champagne bar, spa treatments to cycle routes, the hall covers all bases and ensures that no one is left wanting more.

Upon entry, guests are greeted with a stunning Parisian marble floor and a glittering chandelier, a not-so-subtle hint to the grandeur of the 18th-century mansion. Through the hall is a lounge area that resembles something from the Titanic (the motion picture, not the sunken ship). Beautiful furnishings litter the centre of the room along with a grand piano, whilst a mezzanine level surrounds the space, giving the perfect view for impromptu recitals. If this wasn’t luxurious enough, regal paintings mantle the room and a roman-esque sculpture points you in the direction of the Champagne Bar.

The exterior of the building is grand and stately, surrounded by land as far as the eye can see… enough even for several golf courses and a helipad. The picturesque gardens framing the hall are the perfect setting for cocktail receptions and are utilised as often as British weather allows, as Oulton Hall hosts many weddings and special occasions throughout the year. The gardens can be accessed directly from some of the main function suites by beautiful double doors, which also allow in plenty of natural daylight. The hall has nine rooms in total and can comfortably accommodate up to 350 people. Each room is tastefully decorated, combining the traditional elements of the building with soft, elegant furnishings. Private dinners, award ceremonies, exhibitions, and conferences would all be equally welcome here and with free parking and delicious food, it’s no wonder so many events are hosted here.
